Contributor Guidelines
By the NewEdgePolicy Editorial Team · Last updated 13 July 2026
Anyone contributing must source from primary documents, disclose conflicts, write in plain language, and never fabricate facts or credentials.
Requirements for contributors
- Every material claim must be traceable to a primary source (IRDAI, government, or the policy wording).
- No fabricated facts, statistics, reviews, or credentials — ever.
- Disclose any relationship with an insurer, broker, or aggregator before contributing on a related topic.
- Write for reader understanding; avoid sales language.
Review
All contributed content goes through the same Review Process as our own. Contributions that cannot meet the sourcing standard are not published.
Keeping this honest. If any statement here is inaccurate, out of date, or unclear, please tell us. We log corrections with the date they were made. This page is reviewed on our standard editorial cycle.
