Content Standards
Last updated: 11 June 2026
These Content Standards define the quality bar for everything we publish and support our Editorial Policy.
Reader-first, helpful content
Every article is written to help a real reader make a better insurance decision, not to chase search engines. We aim to satisfy the reader's intent and answer the questions they actually have.
Originality
We publish original work and do not copy or lightly reword other publishers. Where we reference external facts, regulations or data, we attribute them. AI tools, if used to assist research or drafting, are always reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a human before publication; we do not publish unreviewed machine-generated text.
Accuracy and clarity
Claims are verified against primary sources such as IRDAI circulars and insurer documents. We write in plain language, define jargon, and structure articles with clear headings, designed to be readable on mobile and accessible to assistive technology.
Expertise and transparency
Articles are attributed to identifiable authors and reviewed by editors with relevant background. Advertising and affiliate relationships are disclosed and kept separate from editorial judgement.
Continuous improvement
We retire or rewrite thin, outdated or unhelpful content rather than leave it live, and welcome feedback at info@newedgepolicy.com.
