Update Policy
By the NewEdgePolicy Editorial Team · Last updated 13 July 2026
Pages carry a visible review date and are updated whenever the underlying regulation changes or we find something inaccurate — not on a cosmetic schedule.
What the dates mean
- Last reviewed — the date we last checked the page against its sources and confirmed it is still correct.
- Last updated — the date the content itself last changed.
We do not bump dates cosmetically to look fresh. A review date means a genuine review happened.
What triggers an update
- A change to an IRDAI regulation, circular, or tax rule that affects the page.
- A reader report or correction we verify.
- Our scheduled re-review cycle.
Keeping this honest. If any statement here is inaccurate, out of date, or unclear, please tell us. We log corrections with the date they were made. This page is reviewed on our standard editorial cycle.
